Syllabus and Exam Pattern for CDS exam 2017

CDS means Combined Defense Service. This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Generally it is conducted first time in February and second time in the month of November. The candidates who have applied for the November 2017 exam have very less time left. Those who are appearing for CDS Exam for the first time they should know the syllabus.

Syllabus is divided according to the posts they intend to opt after cracking the exam as shown in the tables below:

After clearing the written exam one has to appear for Intelligence and Personality Test.

Topic-wise syllabus for CDS

Every year UPSC conducts Combined Defence Services Examination. It is conducted twice in a year for the recruitment of Indian Defence forces for Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and Officer’s Training Academy.
